Why I Do This Work

When I first began working in family law, I quickly saw that divorce was about far more than paperwork and court dates. People were making life-changing decisions while overwhelmed, afraid, angry, and unsure.

Even with attorneys involved, many people still lacked practical guidance for the everyday choices that would shape their finances, parenting, and future stability. That gap is exactly why I created My C.A.S.E. Coaching—to help clients navigate where the legal world and real life collide.

My Story

A little about my background and why this work matters so deeply to me.
Over my career, I noticed the same pattern again and again. Even with attorneys involved, many people still lacked practical guidance for the everyday choices that would shape their finances, parenting, and future stability.

I understood the legal system, but I also saw its limits. Attorneys are essential for legal representation, yet many clients needed help thinking through strategy, organizing information, and making rational decisions outside the courtroom.

As my career grew, I built experience from multiple angles. I served as an attorney, a certified mediator, a Guardian ad Litem, a college professor, and eventually a certified divorce coach, giving me a broader understanding of how families move through conflict and change.

With 25 years of family courtroom experience, I watched too many people agree to terms they did not fully understand or react emotionally in ways that hurt them later. Those moments convinced me that people needed more than legal answers—they needed clear, practical coaching where the law and real life collide.

That realization became the foundation for My C.A.S.E. Coaching. I created this approach to help clients think through Custody, Assets and Debts, Separation and Divorce, and Evaluate each based on their circumstances so they can make educated decisions instead of costly mistakes.

Today, I share what I have learned so my clients can avoid common mistakes, protect what matters most, and make decisions they can live with long after the divorce is final.
